The "Russian Helicopters" holding manufactured 2 Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters for the domestic airline "Aviation of Kolyma". The rotorcraft can perform transport and cargo flights, assist in extinguishing fires, and protect forests. This was reported by the press service of Rostec.
Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters will be operated in the Magadan Region.
Multi-purpose machines of the Mi-8 family can be used in almost any climate. They are capable of carrying additional external fuel tanks, which allows increasing the maximum flight range to more than 1000 km without refueling.
The helicopters received a livery that repeats the natural color of killer whales.
GTLK reported that 1 more helicopter was transferred to the airlines Helix Aero LLC, Aviation Enterprise Yeltsovka JSC, and Aviakompania Barguzin JSC.
The state supported the GTLK FNB project with a unique leasing rate of 2.5%. Under it, this year we are supplying 30 Mi-8 machines and recording high demand for helicopters from the 2025 supply plan.
