В Красноярске создан VR-тренажер для отработки ЧП на промышленных предприятиях

The device works without connecting to a computer

A VR simulator for practicing the skills of employees of industrial enterprises in case of emergency situations has been developed at the Scientific and Educational Center (REC) "Yenisei Siberia". This was reported in the project office of the REC.

The VR simulator will allow modeling working conditions without the risk of damage to equipment.

The effectiveness of such training is higher due to the possibility of immersion in realistic scenarios, including emergency situations, which is difficult or impossible to implement in real conditions. VR technologies increase the assimilation of material by 30 percent compared to traditional methods.
Alexey Sanin, author of the development

The device allows the user to interact with objects, feeling their sizes as in reality.

Our VR simulator can work on VR glasses without connecting to a PC, while providing high-quality graphics and detail comparable to modern games. The simulator also implements a nodal system for simulating pressure and fluid movement, which is rare in analogues, especially on devices with limited power.
Alexey Sanin, author of the development

The simulator is currently being tested at the Institute of Oil and Gas.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in Rostov they created a VR simulator for training operators of wing-type drones.
