The State Corporation Rosatom plans to control more than 50% of the robotics market in Russia and receive more than 6 billion rubles in revenue from it annually. This was announced at the "Technoforum 2024" by Dmitry Kainov, Commercial Director for Robotics at Rosatom Service. At the conference "Strategic Challenges of the Metalworking Market," the speaker presented solutions for the innovative and technological transformation of industrial production in the country.
The development of domestic technologies in the field of robotics is aimed at robotizing and automating industry at a modern level, ensuring the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation, and creating favorable conditions for the introduction of new industrial technologies. Robots should work for the benefit of society.
According to him, Rosatom wants to produce 3,000 robots every year, is ready to invest in enterprises, acquire shares, and enter into partnership agreements. Currently, robots are most in demand in metalworking, where they are used for welding, packaging, unloading, loading and unloading operations, casting, and milling.
Earlier in 2024, the state corporation presented its first demonstration hall of industrial robots in Moscow. The full line of AIM industrial robots is shown to everyone in the demonstration hall of Rosatom Service JSC.
In general, the creation and promotion of competitive technologies in the field of robotics by Rosatom meets the key development vectors set by the state. In addition to the implementation of the national project to support the development program for means of production and automation, including projects for machine tool construction, robotics, and mechanical engineering, by 2030 Russia should be among the 25 leading countries in terms of the number of industrial robots.
