The Rostec State Corporation is launching a new project — issuing electronic signatures to Russian citizens abroad. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
Registration points will appear on the basis of the Russian Foreign Ministry organizations and institutions and representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo in neighboring countries. The "Osnovanie" certification center (created by Rostec State Corporation) will be engaged in issuing digital signatures.
The procedure for obtaining a qualified electronic signature abroad will not differ from the one in Russia. By appointment, the applicant will have to personally come to the specified address with a passport, TIN and SNILS, fill out an application and receive a special token with a key and certificate.
The project is expected to be popular, as more than two million Russians live abroad. It will open up the possibility of obtaining certificates, interacting with banks, and electronic documents for personnel and administrative purposes.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostec provided 395 modern ambulances to the regions of Russia.
