The new KamAZ Vega bus is now on sale. This model is equipped with a Cummins ISF 3.8 engine, which develops a power of 152 horsepower. It is paired with a six-speed Fast Gear manual transmission.
The bus has 19 seats, and the total passenger capacity is 65 people.
The front suspension of the bus consists of leaf springs, and the rear suspension consists of air suspension. The car also has a new chassis from KAMAZ, which replaced the previous Isuzu chassis, providing reliability and good cross-country ability on Russian roads.
The car has the same body as the SIMAZ-2258 model, released in 2018. But the new version features an original front body design.
Earlier, information appeared that in Moscow, one of the dealers sells serial KamAZ-4280 Vega buses, produced in Ulyanovsk. The cars began to be assembled in the summer. The cost of one bus is 7 million 839 thousand rubles.
In September, a new "smart" Russian bus NEFAZ 5299-40-52 went to work in Bryansk. It is produced by a subsidiary of KAMAZ, located in Bashkortostan. Unlike other city buses, the NEFAZ 5299-40-52 has a spacious interior with LED lighting, a large storage area and a large glazing area.
