Иркутский авиазавод получил оборудование для окраски крупных агрегатов самолётов

These include air intakes, large-sized keel and stabilizer panels, landing gear bays, and other important parts of aircraft.

The unofficial channel of PJSC "Yakovlev" in Telegram, "Notes of Aircraft Builders," reports on the continuation of the technical re-equipment of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. According to their information, the new SPK-SCB 6.5.4 painting chambers are already being installed and are almost ready for operation. They were produced by the "Ural Machine-Tool Industrial Company" for the needs of the aviation industry.

According to aircraft builders, the new equipment was received by the unit for painting components of coating shop No. 208, where large aircraft components are painted: air intakes, large-sized keel and stabilizer panels, landing gear bays, as well as ground equipment, such as aircraft ladders, towing bars, and technical trolleys.

According to them, the chambers operate at temperatures from 15 to 35 degrees Celsius with the possibility of drying the paint coating. Each of them has roller shutters with an electric drive, powerful supply and exhaust ventilation in a closed cycle, an automatic powder fire extinguishing system, and a control panel with a touch screen.

Clean filtered air is supplied into the chamber under positive pressure, and a powerful exhaust system operates simultaneously. Thanks to this, the paint sprayed on the aircraft part lies evenly, and excess particles remaining in the air do not settle on the painted part but are absorbed by the chamber's filters.
