The data was presented by Evgeny Dietrich, head of the GTLK, speaking at the session "UAS as a new vector for industrial development" at the recent Moscow International Digital Technology Forum in the field of transport and logistics "Digital Transportation-2024".
Since the GTLK was designated as the basic supplier of unmanned aerial vehicles under the state civil order within the framework of the "UAS" national project in September 2023, a huge path has been traveled. In 2024, we contracted Russian drones for more than 5 billion rubles for more than 150 customers at the federal and regional levels. A long-term order allows manufacturers to build plans, choose a direction of development, implement innovations and digital solutions. Thanks to the increased volume of the order, we were also able to save more than 1 billion rubles due to discounts from manufacturers.
Dietrich noted that one of the challenges for drone manufacturers now is "to teach the customer to think more broadly, to see where and how the use of drones can be useful, cheap, and technological". And this challenge is being solved with the help of LLC "UAS": at the request of GTLK, it forms scenarios for the use of drones in order to clearly show interested parties how the flight and technical characteristics of each aircraft, the economics of its use, and the cost are combined.
In addition, Dietrich focused on the need to develop and implement programs in the future for processing information taken from drones and to reduce the dependence of UAS on operators.
