In August 2024, Russians most often preferred to buy domestic cars. On average, cars cost 950,000 rubles. We tell you which models were popular.
In the top models in terms of demand in August, LADA Priora leads. This car, made on the "Gamma" platform (VAZ-2108), was produced by AvtoVAZ from 2007 to 2018. The share of sales of this car in the secondary market in August was 4.1%. In second place is LADA Granta with a share of 3%, the third place is VAZ-2114. This five-door hatchback was produced from 2001 to 2013.
In fourth place is VAZ-2107 with a share of 2%. This model rolled off the AvtoVAZ assembly line from 1982 to 2014. According to the number of offers in August, LADA Granta, LADA Priora and Ford Focus turned out to be the most popular.
Among the most popular brands in August, in addition to AvtoVAZ, Toyota was named, with a share of 6.9%, Hyundai (5.6%), as well as Kia and Volkswagen.
The most popular brand in terms of demand dynamics over the year was Toyota. Its growth amounted to 39.4%.
