The "Modern Transport Technologies" Group of Companies has announced the start of sales of the "Valdai 12" cabless truck. Its production started at the Gorky Automobile Plant at the beginning of the year. "Valdai 12" costs from 5,145,000 rubles.
The new "Valdai" has an internal van volume of up to 60 m3. Its gross weight is 11,990 kg, which is the upper limit of category N2, for which registration of the vehicle in the PLATO system is not required.
At the same time, the vehicle chassis is quite light, which provides one of the best payload capacities in its class, up to 8.1 tons. The truck is equipped with:
- a YaMZ-534 diesel engine with 168.8 hp and 664 N.m
- a Nizhny Novgorod 6-speed gearbox with an overdrive of its own design;
- a sleeping cabin with two passenger seats;
- rear air suspension;
- disc brakes;
- a spacious body where you can transport up to 20 pallets;
- Russian frames and axles.
"Valdai 12" is offered in four wheelbase options: 3310, 3860, 4710 or 5310 mm, which allows mounting superstructures with a length of 3.5 to 7.25 meters.
Imported parts in the truck include the cabin "in bulk", which is welded and painted in Russia, as well as the brake and pneumatic systems.
