The official Telegram channel of the Hamster Kombat project has announced the listing date, after which the game's millions of coins can be converted into rubles or other currency. This is September 26. The official launch of the token has already been postponed several times, fueling interest.
Hamster Kombat is a Telegram mini-application clicker in which you can earn billions of game coins and exchange them for digital assets, and then for real currency. The exchange rate of game coins to cryptocurrency is unclear. But millions of users in Russia and other countries around the world have gotten a taste of the game and spend their time mining coins in the hope of good earnings. The project's official channel alone now has over 52 million subscribers.
Coins are given for each visit to the game, clicking in the game — "tapping" — on the hamster game character, completing various tasks, for example, guessing codes, as well as for the player inviting their friends to Hamster Kombat via a referral link. For each new player involved according to the principle of a financial pyramid, the creator of the referral link receives a reward. There are even children and teenagers among the players: Hamster Kombat has an age limit of 18+, but in practice the age of "tappers" is not strictly checked.
Millions of people's desire for quick earnings is being exploited by scammers. Police and cybersecurity experts are asking players to be vigilant and take measures to protect their Telegram account.
