Any car models have some weak spots, the so-called "childhood diseases" that can bother drivers during the operation of the car. Domestic LADAs are no exception, and automotive journalist Maxim Kadakov spoke about their typical breakdowns. According to him, it is mainly about annoying little things.
Lada mainly breaks down with some annoying little things - electronics, for example. If we take the latest LADA Vesta, which began to be assembled on a new component base, there are a lot of failures in electronics: then the rear lights do not light up correctly or do not turn on, then something else fails, then there is a problem with the gas pedal.
The automotive journalist noted that it cannot be said that LADA is worse than comparable European or Chinese cars.
Auto expert Maxim Rakitin believes that the main problem with LADA is not breakdowns, but poor configurations, which often lack either stabilization systems or airbags.
