Одобрены к серийному выпуску: ТМХ запустит массовое производство двигателей

We are talking about DTA-170 engines for subway trains

TMH-Elektrotech LLC (part of TMH-Energeticheskiye Resheniya) will begin mass production of DTA-170 asynchronous traction electric motors. They are intended for subway trains manufactured by Metrovagonmash plant (part of Transmashholding). This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.

The engine design is equipped with a rotor with a copper squirrel-cage winding.

Compared to aluminum, which is used in similar engines on the market, it provides higher system reliability.

In total, it is planned to produce 2.4 thousand engines. To prepare for mass production, 28 prototypes were produced. The first engine appeared in early autumn 2023.

The DTA-170 engine passed an evaluation commission and was assigned the O1 letter. This gives the right to establish mass production after certification.

It is worth noting that TMH plans to increase the production of asynchronous traction electric motors for modern mainline locomotives by 35% - up to 5.7 thousand units per year. In addition, the company will increase the production of engines for electric trains and serial subway cars to 2.7 thousand units per year. The project is planned to be implemented by 2025.

The company has already received certificates for the production of DTA-380 engines (for Ivolga electric trains, DTA-200T (for TEM23 diesel locomotives) and DTA-125 (for EMKA2 contact-battery locomotives).

Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia the development of TAD430 and DTA-380U1 asynchronous traction motors for the 2TE35A mainline diesel locomotive and the Ivolga 3.0 electric train has been completed.
