Roscosmos announced the domestic development of a new subscriber terminal for personal communications "Gonets-Autonomous." The service tests will be carried out this summer, then mass production will begin. The authors of the development are JSC "Satellite system "Gonets".
"Gonets-Autonomous" will provide the transmission of text and voice messages and files from anywhere on the map, and will become an indispensable companion for pedestrian and mobile groups. With it, you can transmit data about your location in a critical situation.
To use the service, it will be enough to connect to it via Wi-Fi from a smartphone using a mobile application or through a web interface. It will be delivered to customers in a small backpack.
