The production of rear door seals for LADA Largus cars has started at the Balakovo Rubber Technology enterprise. This was reported by the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Saratov Region.
This part will be supplied to the AvtoVAZ assembly line from August. Recall that LADA Largus is assembled in Izhevsk.
Earlier it became known that the car was import-substituted by AvtoVAZ by 90%. After Renault's departure from the Russian market, VAZ adjusted its logistics chains. Now all body panels, door and front reinforcements, electronic units, generator, sound signal and much more are made in Russia.
Recall that for the time being, LADA Largus vans and station wagons with a 1.6-liter engine (90 horsepower) in the basic configuration are available for purchase. The Comfort version will be released in the fall.
Cars in the basic configuration have already begun to arrive at dealers. The recommended price for the passenger version is 1,660,000 rubles. For an additional fee of 45,000 rubles, dealers offer to additionally install a folding rear seat back, and equip the car with 15-inch alloy wheels instead of stamped discs.
