Specialists of the domestic company "PPSh Laboratory" have developed and started full-scale field tests of the Krechet turret-sight system for integrating 12.7-mm Utes and Kord machine guns.
The product is represented by a support structure with mounting points for machine guns and a thermal imaging sight system, which transmits the image through a matrix video eyepiece to a dust-/moisture-proof and shockproof terminal. "Krechet" is capable of operating in seawater and fog conditions.
The sight will be used to destroy low-visibility high-speed unmanned surface vessels (USV) in the Black Sea.
Earlier it became known that the Black Sea Fleet will receive a thermal imaging system to repel USV attacks. These devices will be able to detect boats at a distance of 1 km.
