Russian developers have created a pendant and application to protect women from attacks. In case of danger, a signal is sent to relatives from the contact list and to emergency services.
The pendant can scare away an aggressor with the voice of an online assistant from the application. In the future, developers plan to supplement the device with a light signal.
One of the authors of the project, Denis Levshin, said that when the pendant is pressed once, a signal with a request for help will be sent to relatives. And two clicks will notify all users within a radius of 3 km about the attack. Three clicks - the signal will go to emergency services.
Currently, the application only works on the Android platform. In the future, the program will appear on iOS.
