PJSC "KamAZ" showcased KamAZ-4555 ("Atlant-50") and KamAZ-4554 ("Atlant-49") mining dump trucks with K5 cabins and a diesel inline six-cylinder engine at the MiningWorld Russia 2024 exhibition. The first truck has a 6x4 wheel configuration and three axles, the second is a four-axle truck with an 8x4 wheel configuration.
In the KamAZ-4555, you can additionally install a microwave oven, refrigerator, and table. In addition, the mining dump truck is equipped with an alcohol lock and a driver condition monitoring system. Among the "road" options is an automated traffic control system with all-round view cameras.
Under the hood of the truck is a 16-liter KamAZ P6 engine paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The car can be used on roads with high dust levels.
The KamAZ-4554 is equipped with overload and roll control systems. The operation of hydraulic equipment is controlled using an interactive smart system.
