The Russian Atom electric car will receive a projection screen with augmented reality, which will run on domestic software. Engineers have already created an alpha version of the application builder for it, which is called Builder. They also wrote the AR Engine. It is needed to manage content on the projection screen.
The application builder will allow not only to create applications, but also to modify them. The engine will be integrated with the electric car's information system and will be able to display augmented reality images on the windshield.
Developers of domestic software claim that the image will be perceived as if it is at a distance of 12 meters from the driver. This will reduce eye strain.
Note that projection displays with augmented reality are used on some American, European and Chinese cars.
