Russian Aerospace Forces' Su-34 fighters have gained a "devastating power" by using bombs with a universal gliding and correction module (UMPC). The effectiveness of such ammunition was noted in the American publication The Military Watch.
The capabilities of gliding bombs allow the Su-34 to strike from beyond the reach of enemy air defense, while all Su-34s return to base after the attack
Western journalists noted that the accuracy of bombs with UMPC reduces the number of aircraft sorties to hit targets. Ammunition is dropped from a high altitude, on the way to the target they can fly up to 70 km.
The Su-34 has high endurance, which means that it has a much greater flight range than any other class of fighter in the world, while it can carry a payload comparable to the payload of bombers with nuclear weapons
Earlier, experts at The Military Watch highly appreciated the Russian Kh-69 (Kh-59MK2) cruise missiles, which enhanced the combat capabilities of Su-57 fighters.
