The first production models of the modified aircraft are already being assembled in the workshops

Rosaviatsiya has approved a change to the airframe of the SJ-100 aircraft from PJSC Yakovlev. It was modified not only for Russian systems and components, which are being actively import-substituted, but also for easier operation and maintenance of the aircraft.

The approval of this change allows us to move to the production of SJ-100 according to serial design documentation, in order to transfer the first import-substituted aircraft into operation in 2024, in accordance with the instructions of the Government of the Russian Federation. The next important step in certification will be the approval of import-substituted systems and the PD-8 main power plant as part of the aircraft. Given the geography of our cooperation, we are working with our suppliers in this direction almost around the clock.
