The Russian "Gerbera" drone can be used not only as a false target todivert the attention of air defense systems, but also to obtain various intelligence information.
Experts clarified that information from the "Gerbera" board is also transmitted to the calculations of the operational tactical missile system "Iskander-M".
Cheap and practical
A significant advantage of the device is its low cost. "Gerbera" is made of plywood and foam, which allows it to be produced inlarge quantities.
In addition, the drone is less visible to radar detection equipment due to a special coating, military experts reminded.

The "Gerbera" drone was developed at the Gastello Design Bureau. According to information from open sources, it had an effective range of 300-400 km, a warhead weight of 5-7 kg and aradio navigation module. It was also reported on the Web that the drone flies 700 km or more.
