Small warheads weighing 3–5 kg have been spotted on some foam plastic "Gerbera" drones. This was reported by "Military Informant."
At the same time, it is not yet known whether this is a small-scale amateur activity or whether such light analogues of "Geraniums" will actually be used in series.
Given this extremely light warhead, which is not capable of causing significant damage to objects in the rear, it would be more logical to simply put explosives in the drone for its self-destruction after the fall.
The Gerbera decoy drone is equipped with a camera and a modem for transmitting video to the operator, and can act as false targets, thereby diverting the operation of enemy air defense (AD) systems.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Lancet kamikaze drone turned the American M1097 Avenger into a pile of iron, and footage of objective control appeared.
