The Russian drone "Gerbera" can be used not only as a false target to divert the attention of air defense systems (ADS), but also to obtain various intelligence information, military experts said.
Experts clarified that information from the "Gerbera" is also transmitted to the calculations of the operational tactical missile system "Iskander-M".
A significant advantage of the device is its low cost. "Gerbera" is made of foam, which allows it to be replicated in large quantities. In addition, the drone is less visible to radar detection equipment, military experts reminded.
There are also versions of "Gerbera" that have warheads on board to strike various enemy targets.
Earlier www1.ru reported that The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on other latest weapons of Russia.
