The supply vessel "Aliot" of project FPW1, built at the Stroyliderplyus shipyard in the Astrakhan region, has joined the dredging fleet of FSUE Rosmorport. It will be operated on the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal (VCSSC), the press service reported.
Alexander Shraitel, Director of the Astrakhan branch of FSUE Rosmorport, took part in the flag-raising ceremony on the vessel. He stated that the vessel "Aliot" successfully passed sea and mooring trials and meets safety requirements.
The acceptance of the vessel is the result of the enormous work of designers, shipbuilders, inspectors, and supervisory specialists.
Multifunctional vessels of project FPW1 will perform various operations during dredging, including pushing and towing. On the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal, "Aliot" is planned to be used in conjunction with the dredgers "Nikolay Rusanov" and "Nikolay Grichanovsky" of project FPDG3.

The "Stroyliderplyus" site is also building the dredger "Pyotr Vedernikov" of project FPDG3. Together with other vessels of this series, it will assist in the dredging of the VCSSC.
