The supply vessel "Aliot" (the second in the FPW1 project series) was launched at the production facilities of Stroyliderplus in the Astrakhan region. It is designed to work together with FPDG3 project dredgers. This was reported by the press service of Rosmorport.
The lead vessel of the FPW1 project, "Beryl", joined the Rosmorport fleet at the end of 2025. It is currently operating on the Volga-Caspian Shipping Canal (VKMSK). The third vessel, "Antares", is under construction.
Work on "Aliot" is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026. The vessel may be sent to the Volga-Caspian Shipping Canal or to the ports of Astrakhan, Makhachkala.
About the FPW1 project
The vessels can perform various operations, including pushing and towing. They are equipped with cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 2.5 tons for installing buoys, raising/lowering anchors to hold dredgers. In addition, the vessels can transport cargo and carry fuel.
