The multipurpose support vessel "Beryl" of project FPW1, manufactured by Stroyliderplus LLC, will start operating on the Volga-Caspian Maritime Shipping Canal in early December. This was reported by the press service of FSUE Rosmorport.
The lead vessel of project FPW1 will be used to escort high-performance non-self-propelled dredgers of project FPDG3. The vessel's tasks include auxiliary dredging operations, towing, and delivery of water and fuel.
The new motorboat is equipped with 25-ton cranes, ensuring efficient operation with buoys and anchors, as well as the transportation of cargo and personnel.
"Beryl" can operate around the clock and year-round. The vessel's Ice1 ice class allows it to sail in ice up to 0.4 m thick.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the trawler "Kapitan Geller" passed sea trials.
