The Sevmash shipyard has begun real-time monitoring of production equipment operation. In the first stage, 12 CNC machines in mechanical assembly shop No. 16 were connected to the automated system.

The system records the time and duration of equipment operation, emergency conditions, error codes, and causes of downtime. Specialists can see the status of each machine, its efficiency and utilization rate, as well as the number of processed parts.

The system also monitors critical operating modes of the equipment and informs when they are reached, and in case of a malfunction, the operator receives a signal. This allows a specialist to be promptly dispatched to the equipment to eliminate the malfunction.

Recall that the Sevmash plant is part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation. It builds submarines of projects 955A Borei-A and 885M Yasen-M.
