The Savyolovsky District Court of Moscow sentenced the former managing director of JSC "Russian Aircraft Corporation "MiG"" Andrey Gerasimchuk. The top manager of the defense enterprise was sentenced to 5 years in a general regime penal colony.

As the investigation and the court established, Gerasimchuk systematically, without mandatory approval from the parent company PAO "OAK", issued inflated bonuses to subordinates, and also approved huge compensations upon their dismissal.

The total amount of unjustified payments, recognized as damage to the corporation, amounted to 363 million rubles.

The court also prohibited the convicted person from holding leadership positions in public service for two years. Gerasimchuk's side appealed the verdict.
