MiG-35 fighter production may be revived for transfer to the North Korean Air Force. This was reported by the "Military Review" publication, citing foreign sources.
The authors noted that the aircraft was initially "pulled" from reserve and sent to destroy drones. After that, production complexes related to RAC "MiG" came back to life.
Western media are already openly writing, citing data from their intelligence services, that Russia is in full swing preparing to start serial production of a batch of MiG-35s for the DPRK. They have even calculated that the country's need for modern fighters is estimated at 200-220 units.
Flight tests of the MiG-35 began in 2017. General Designer of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) Sergei Korotkov stated that the MiG-35 had already been used in combat operations. At the moment, the issue of its serial production has not yet been resolved.
Earlier www1.ru reported that MiG-31 fighters used hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles for the second time in three days.
