As of September 2026, the Irkutsk Aviation Plant has managed to assemble 10 airframes of the MS-21-310 airliner. Another 4 aircraft will be transferred to the flight test station by the end of 2026, according to the local publication "Gorod".

It should be noted that the main customer for the MS-12 in the first production phase will be Aeroflot, which expects to receive the first 8 aircraft by December 2027, and another 10 in 2028. In total, the airline's ambitions cover 108 new MS-21s by 2032.
Aeroflot will be provided with exclusive terms – MS-21s will be supplied for 3.6 billion rubles per aircraft, while the market value is about 9 billion rubles. The difference will be covered by state subsidies.
Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" explained the demand range for MS-21 from foreign customers and analyzed the reasons why the order cannot be fulfilled quickly.
