The Algerian Air Force will receive at least 36 5th-generation Su-57 fighters by the end of 2027. The delivery schedule was reported by the "Tekhnosfera Rossiya" publication.

According to preliminary data, Algeria could have received 6 Su-57 units in 2025, another 6 in 2026, and 14 in 2027.

The total number of delivered fighters is 36 – this is two regiments in the modern structure of the Russian Aerospace Forces. Although Algeria has a slightly different troop organization scheme, in their hierarchy, 36 aircraft constitute a squadron.

The head of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, confirmed that Russia had concluded new contracts for the supply of Su-57E with a foreign customer, with deliveries starting in 2026. He did not specify who the customer was.

Overall, he stated that the interest of foreign recipients has shifted towards combat aviation and air defense systems.
