Su-57 Fighters Sent to Algeria, North Korea with Su-34Es on the Way

Aircraft Have Assumed Combat Duty

Two fifth-generation Su-57E multirole fighters have already been delivered to a foreign customer, according to Vadim Badekha, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec Group). According to "Russian Weapons", it is specifically referring to the Air Force (AF) of Algeria.

The source also added that North Korea could be a possible buyer of the export Su-57, but this is a less likely option. Moreover, the republic has ordered Su-34E generation "4+" fighter-bombers.

As a reminder, Badekha reported that the aircraft are already on combat duty. He noted the positive assessment from the foreign operator. The head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, added that many countries intend to receive the Su-57E, but declined to name who specifically.

Military expert Evgeny Mikhailov explained in a comment to "First Technical" that the issuance of a license for the production of the Su-57 abroad demonstrates high confidence in domestic weapons.

Meanwhile, rare shots of the Su-57E cockpit from the inside have appeared online. In detail, it turned out to be even simpler than on the Su-27.
