The next production MC-21-310 aircraft continue to advance along the production line. The aircraft with factory number MS.0015 has already been rolled out of the workshop, engines are being installed on the next aircraft MS.0016, and MS.0017 is being equipped with tail section elements. Aviation blogger SkyExpert reported on the results of the aircraft production.

MS.0015 became the next production aircraft after MS.0014. In August, the aircraft was rolled out of the workshop, after which it began preparations for flight tests. This is the next stage of the program after the first production MC-21-310, which has already completed its first flight.

Assembly of the next liners continues in parallel. Engines are already being installed on MS.0016. Another aircraft – MS.0017 – is receiving a ventral fin compartment, as well as elements of the tail section.

This creates a sequential chain: while one production MC-21 undergoes tests, the next one prepares for its first flight, and two more advance in production.

Moreover, this is not just about the immediate aircraft. In the original production plan, MS.0014, MS.0015, MS.0016, and MS.0017 are expected to take to the air by the end of the year.
