The tracked grain harvester GS400 CROSS showed 15–20% higher efficiency than similar models during tests in the Amur Region. The first stage of testing was completed on the field of OOO "Imeni Chapaeva" farm in Tambovsky District. The machine was developed by Belarusian "Gomselmash" taking into account the region's conditions and the requirements of local farmers.

During grain harvesting, specialists evaluated the operation of the combine's main systems. The GS400 CROSS is equipped with a YaMZ-536 diesel engine, which works in conjunction with a reversible fan and an updated radiator block. This scheme is designed for stable operation of the power unit under high load and dust conditions.

Movement is provided by a tracked undercarriage system with proportional hydraulics. It ensures precise control and allows the machine to maneuver better in the field. For maintenance, free access to the main components and mechanisms is provided, which should simplify routine maintenance and repairs.

The combine received an enlarged bunker and upper grain unloading. During the tests, the modernized soybean header was also positively evaluated.

The GS400 CROSS has already been tested in farms of Blagoveshchensky and Tambovsky municipal districts. The machine's design was formed taking into account the soil and climatic conditions of the Amur Region and the requirements of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

The next stage of testing will be conducted during soybean harvesting. During this stage, specialists will separately evaluate the operation of the modernized soybean header.
