From October 5 to 11, 914 electric vehicles were registered in Russia, as a result of which the share of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) in the market increased to 3.2%. This was announced by Sergey Tselikov, director of the analytical agency Avtostat.
In the previous three weeks, the share of pure electric vehicles in the market fluctuated within 2.9-3.0%. And in the first half of the year, it did not exceed 1%.
Last week, the compact Chinese-made Changan Qiyuan Q05 crossover took first place in terms of sales volume (246 units). It is followed by the Toyota BZ3X SUV (234 units), which is produced by the GAC Toyota joint venture. The Russian urban crossover Evolute I-Joy (158 units) dropped to third place.
According to Tselikov, Evolute sales decreased partly due to the suspension by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade of the state program for preferential car loans and leasing from September 30, 2026. This decision was made due to the early exhaustion of annual funding limits.
In early October, the Evolute press service announced that by the end of 9 months of 2026, the brand leads the Russian market among all-electric models. In September, 723 Evolute I-Joy were sold. In total, from January to September, Russians purchased 2,799 crossovers of this model.
