In Protvin, Moscow Region, the company "Turbokomplekt" has opened a new production facility for manufacturing turbochargers, "Pervy Tekhnichesky" was informed by the press service of the Industrial Development Fund (IDF). The products are intended for diesel engines of trucks, light commercial vehicles, and agricultural machinery.

The project was implemented with the support of the federal IDF: the total investment exceeded 1.8 billion rubles, of which 1.2 billion rubles is a preferential loan under the "Auto Components" program. The funds allowed equipping the facility with turning and milling machining centers, an electron-beam welding unit, balancing machines, and a semi-automatic assembly line.
After reaching full capacity, the enterprise will increase output by 45% — from 46 to 90 thousand turbochargers annually. Simultaneously, the existing site was re-equipped: machining centers and measuring systems were installed, localizing the mechanical processing of body parts, the production of impellers and bearings, welding, and rotor balancing. As a result, the share of imported materials in production will decrease from 90% to 40%.
The end customers of the products are the "Avtodizel" (YaMZ) plants, Tutayevsky Motor Plant, Transmashholding, and Minsk Motor Plant.
