Yandex's fleet of delivery robots has reached 1,000 units. In three months, they completed about 260,000 deliveries from more than 140 dark stores. The service was launched in Nizhny Novgorod and cities in the Moscow region. By the end of the year, robot delivery will be available in Voronezh, Tyumen, and other cities.
Yandex's robot truck traveled 700 km along the Moscow — St. Petersburg route completely without driver intervention. The technology is ready for serious long-haul transportation, according to the company.
Unmanned taxis have become available to company employees for trips between offices. The goal by the end of the year is to launch 100 robotaxis in the city that any user can order.
