Urent has summarized the first results of its electric scooter driver rating system. Speed was restricted for 35,000 users who regularly violated traffic rules. This is less than 1% of the service's total audience.

Each new account starts with 100 points. The rating decreases for repeated violations – for example, if a person does not dismount at a pedestrian crossing or leaves the scooter in an unauthorized place. Along with points, the available speed also drops: in some cases, it can be only 20% of the limit set for a specific area.

Most violators are found through eyewitness complaints via chatbots in Telegram and Max. However, one message is not enough: the service first verifies the evidence and only then changes the rating. Approximately every third complaint results in a point reduction.

The restriction is not permanent. If the user starts riding carefully and no longer receives penalties, the rating gradually recovers, and with it, the maximum speed returns.

According to Urent, the system worked in most cases: after forced slowdowns, 96% of users stopped violating the rules. At the same time, for serious cases, fines, account blocking, slow zones, and areas where scooter movement is completely prohibited still apply.
