Rostec company has delivered a new batch of "Planshet-M-IR" artillery fire control systems to the Russian Ministry of Defence. These systems are installed on protected vehicles. The new vehicles are designed to coordinate the work of artillery units, promptly receive intelligence data, and increase fire accuracy.

The delivery was carried out by the Vysokotochnye Kompleksy holding. The complex integrates self-propelled and towed artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and mortars into a single digital system. The unit commander receives target information in real-time, including video streams from drones, which allows for faster decision-making and prompt fire adjustment.

One of the features of "Planshet-M-IR" is the ability to control artillery not only from inside the vehicle. If necessary, the commander can take the tablets to a safe distance and continue coordinating the unit's actions remotely.

Vysokotochnye Kompleksy holding reported that the technical solutions of the complex have proven their effectiveness in operation. According to the developer, the system significantly reduces the time for preparing initial data for firing, increases the effectiveness of target engagement, and the placement of equipment on an armored chassis further reduces risks for the crew. The developers also continue to improve the functionality of the complex, taking into account the experience of its practical application.
