The company "Aluminium Metallurg Rus" filed a lawsuit against the United Aircraft Corporation (OAK) for 180.3 million rubles. The case was registered in the card index of the Arbitration Court of Rostov Oblast.
The Don enterprise demanded a penalty under the aluminum supply contract from 2024.
In the first hearing, the court satisfied the claims of "Aluminium Metallurg Rus", but OAK has the opportunity to appeal and challenge the decision.
The case materials do not state what exactly the plaintiff wanted to receive 180 million rubles for. However, it is known that metallurgists from Belaya Kalitva supply OAK with aluminum for aircraft production.
In Russia, preparations are in full swing for the production of import-substituted versions of MS-21 and SJ-100 aircraft. OAK promised to certify them by the end of 2026, but the deadlines have shifted to the right.
