PAO "Aeroflot" has agreed on a leasing rate for the supply of 90 new MC-21 aircraft with the company's financial standards. The carrier also agreed on after-sales service for the aircraft, announced CEO Sergey Aleksandrovsky.
He reminded that "Aeroflot" had repeatedly confirmed its readiness to conclude a firm contract.
In addition to the already concluded contract for 18 and the expected one for 90 aircraft, we are, in fact, ready to bring the total number of liners to 200.
The head of "Aeroflot" did not specify when exactly the firm contract would be signed. Last week, the head of the United Aircraft Corporation, Vadim Badeha, stated that it is expected "in the very near future."
Currently, "Aeroflot" spends billions on maintaining the airworthiness of Airbus and Boeing. In the first quarter of 2026, expenses amounted to 7.27 billion rubles. This figure is 2.2 times higher than in the same period of 2025.
