Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3 will conduct a comprehensive inspection of the new power unit, commissioned at the end of 2025, for the first time. Simultaneously, a large-scale repair program continues at the station, within which key equipment is being modernized and its operational efficiency improved.
The main event of the repair campaign will be a comprehensive diagnostic of the second power unit. After the first months of operation, specialists will assess the condition of the main systems, check the equipment's operation in various modes, and determine the parameters for its further operation.
In parallel, repairs continue on hot water boiler No. 1 — one of the main heat sources for the Sovetsky and Tsentralny districts of Krasnoyarsk. The heating surfaces of the unit will be replaced, which will increase heat exchange efficiency and improve the technical and economic performance of the equipment.
The second power unit of Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3 was commissioned in December 2025, along with a new electrostatic precipitator, ensuring a flue gas purification degree of over 99%. The facility is entirely built with Russian components. Its capacity is sufficient to supply electricity to approximately half of Krasnoyarsk and heat to about 450 nine-story residential buildings.
Earlier, "Pervy Tekhnichesky" reported that Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1 commissioned its second new 35 MW turbogenerator.
