Evolute entered the top five popular used electric car brands in May

From January to May 2026, 6,000 such cars were sold in Russia - 34% more than last year

In Russia, from January to May 2026, 6,000 used electric vehicles were sold, which is 34% more than in the same period last year. These data were reported by the Autostat agency.

According to analysts, 1228 used electric vehicles were sold in May, which is 25% more than in the same month in 2025. The most popular was the Japanese brand Nissan (314 units), followed by the Chinese Zeekr (208 units), then the German Volkswagen (161 units) and the American Tesla (115 units). The Russian Evolute (61 units) also made it into the top five.

Autostat also named the top 5 most popular used electric car models:

  1. Nissan Leaf (280 units)
  2. Zeekr 001 (149 units)
  3. Volkswagen Lavida (121 units)
  4. Tesla Model 3 (54 units)
  5. Moskvich 3e (47 units)

Evolute is a Russian electric vehicle brand founded in 2022 by Motorinvest. Full-cycle production was established in the Lipetsk region. The Evolute model range includes localized versions of electric vehicles from the Chinese concern Dongfeng.
