The Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57 has proven its superiority on the battlefield over the best foreign armaments. This was stated by Vadim Badeha, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (OAK, part of Rostec), on the opening day of the SPIEF.
The Su-57 is the only fifth-generation aircraft that participates in real combat operations.
According to him, potential foreign customers see the success of the Su-57. The fighter is in the highest demand, Badeha added.
In addition, the Su-35, which belongs to the 4++ generation, also interests buyers. This "workhorse", which is widely used by Russian pilots, "achieves all its goals", emphasized the General Director of OAK. The Su-35 is an advanced and very effective machine, he concluded.
Sukhoi Design Bureau is developing a two-seat version of the Su-57D. Chief pilot Sergey Bogdan previously stated that the newest fighter would be suitable for pilot training and combat missions.
