The Ministry of Health plans to extend the online medical document ordering service to all regions of Russia in 2026. Currently, the system is operating in test mode in Chuvashia and Tyumen Oblast, said Deputy Minister of Health Vadim Vankov in the relevant State Duma committee.
The service will allow people to obtain popular medical documents without an unnecessary visit to the polyclinic. This includes certificates of preventive vaccinations, temporary disability certificates, documents confirming the absence of contact with infectious patients, and conclusions about a child's medical group for physical education classes.
According to the Ministry of Health's plan, documents will be generated automatically based on data from the electronic medical record. Users will be able to submit a request through the "Gosuslugi" portal, after which the ready certificate will arrive in the national messenger "Max".
Vankov noted that people often visit medical organizations for such documents just to get a "piece of paper." The new format should transfer this process to electronic interaction and reduce unnecessary doctor visits where the necessary data is already in the system.
