Four electric vessels of the "Moskva 1.0" project launched in the Russian capital

Another 16 motor ships will be laid down at the Moscow Shipyard by the end of 2026

The passenger electric vessels "Taganka", "Maroseyka", "Polyanka", and "Yakimanka" of the "Moskva 1.0" project were launched at the Moscow Shipyard. Another 16 motor ships are planned to be laid down by the end of the current year, according to representatives of the capital's mayor's office.

The first vessels of the "Moskva 1.0" project were built in 5.5 months from the moment of laying down. The capacity of the new enterprise allows producing up to 40 vessels per year.

The Moscow Shipyard's lineup includes:

  • "Moskva 1.0"
  • "Moskva 2.0"
  • "Moskva 3.0" (two types)
  • "Canal Vessel"
  • Hybrid cruise ship "Moskovskoye Zolotoye Koltso"

Currently, Moscow shipbuilders are assembling another 4 electric vessels of the "Moskva 1.0" project for regular passenger routes.

According to Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, by 2030, there will be no diesel-powered vessels left in the central part of the Moskva River. And by 2035, only electric vessels will operate here, he concluded.
