Broadband communication based on the low-orbit satellite constellation "Rassvet" will be integrated into the infrastructure of the national satellite operator of Belarus "Belintersat". An agreement on strategic partnership with the Russian company "Bureau 1440" was signed on the sidelines of the "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (CIPR-2026) conference. This was reported by the press service of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus.
This opens the way for the creation of a partner network throughout our country.
The committee emphasized that cooperation between Russia and Belarus will help ensure high-speed communication comparable to terrestrial networks. In addition, it will contribute to import substitution in a critical industry and strengthen overall technological sovereignty.
In the long-term scenario, joint work with "Bureau 1440" will reduce the digital divide and give new impetus to the development of the regions of Belarus.
The "Belintersat" satellite communication system was deployed in 2016. It includes the Belarusian geostationary satellite "Belintersat-1" (transponders operate in C and Ku-bands) and a ground control complex located in the Minsk region.
Aerospace company "Bureau 1440" (part of "X Holding"), within the framework of the "Rassvet" project, develops satellites that function as a 5G base station in orbit. Spacecraft can transmit signals at speeds up to 1 Gbit/s (super-high-speed connection) with a delay of less than 70 ms.
