Ground robotic systems (NRTK) "Svarog 500" and "Svarog 1000", capable of transporting cargo weighing up to 500 kg and up to 1 ton respectively, will undergo testing in real combat operations. This was announced by an official representative of the Scientific and Production Center (SPC) "Svarog".
Both ground robots are designed to solve logistical problems. During the tests, developers will check the practicality of the wheeled platform.
An important feature is the presence of two modifications of the platform — on gas and diesel, since almost all NRTKs currently run on batteries, and the ability to charge them is not always available.
Advantages of NRTK "Svarog 1000":
- Autonomous movement along the route, including using satellite data and communication based on a Mesh network (a system of two or more device-nodes that create a single Wi-Fi network)
- The wheeled platform is more effective than a tracked one in conditions of impassable roads and rough terrain
SPC "Svarog" previously developed a version of the NRTK "Svarog 400" and the tracked platform "Varan".
