Moscow authorities have expanded the list of equipped picnic areas that can be booked online. Online booking has been opened for 55 sites in four parks under the jurisdiction of the Department of Culture. The service is available through the "Mosbilet" service.
In the "Borisovskie Prudy" recreation area, 25 sites with gazebos, barbecues, tables, and benches have been equipped. In the park along Borisovskie Prudy, there are 19 such areas. In "Pokrovsky Bereg", eight gazebos can be booked for free. Three areas designed for groups of 20 to 45 people have appeared in "Khodynskoe Pole" Park.
Previously, Moscow had 99 picnic areas in eight parks, including "Sokolniki", "Kuskovo", "Serebryany Bor", the park near "Raduga" ponds, "Mitino", "Kuzminki", Shkulev Park, and "Lianozovsky". Now the total number of sites has reached 154, and the number of parks with such infrastructure has increased to 12. The "Mosbilet" service provides an interactive map with filters by date, cost, and availability of a barbecue. The map indicates the operating hours and features of each area.
