On May 1, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenka personally arrived at the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) site, where he inspected the experimental BELARUS-5425 tractor with a 542 hp engine.
The head of state immediately asked the developers how the new tractor performs in operation. The model is still undergoing tests in all areas and types of work, and after identifying possible shortcomings and making improvements, it will be launched into mass production.

The BELARUS-5425 is the most powerful tractor in a classic layout. It is equipped with a power shift transmission and an automatic driving system.
